Poker Coaching

We offer 1-on-1 coaching, with a focus on providing affordable value for microstakes players. We can also present on custom topics for a private group.

Besides our microstakes offer, our standard rate is $65 USD per session, available as $325/5 sessions or $600/10 sessions.

When determining value, we prefer to think in terms of sessions rather than hours. This is because it's rarely practical to chop a session after exactly 60 minutes. You can expect a typical session to last 60-90 minutes, depending on the topics being discussed.

Typical topics include:

 

• RFI targets and theory of range building

 

• 3 betting ranges and the theory of 3 betting

 

• big blind defense

 

• adjusting to in-game dynamics

 

• flop cbets; textures, sizing, barreling plans, IP vs OOP, floating, slow playing, check raising

 

• turn play; barreling, semi-bluffing, when to give up

 

• river play; value bets, thin value bets, calls, bluffing

 

All of the above will include targets for your database statistics and practical tactics to achieve them.

Additionally, we all know poker tools are an important part of studying and improving your game:

 

• making a study plan

 

• EV calculations and pot odds

 

• using Flopzilla or Equilab

 

• how to use a solver effectively to improve your study
